QUESTIONS :

Q Can I use the byrd insert on my Xylent head ? 

A  No, the radius of the BYRD insert in slightly larger but more importantly, the screws that mount the byrd insert knife  have a different taper, so the insert will not seat properly.

Q Can I use the byrd screw in my Xylent head.?

A, Good Quesion, No. The threads of a Byrd screw is 8/32 the SCM screw is a metric.
